gray pride

when you have only
black and white
you can clearly decide
which one is which.
so it was with god and the devil.
the devil knew,
when god endowed humans
with free will,
that as long as white was white
and black was black
people would always know exactly
what to choose.
so the devil invented the color gray.
in that moment
people stopped considering
the original black and white,
and began to think in shades of gray.
and they did that fast
and easily,
because gray was so much closer
to the clay’s original color…
thus,
the so-called “human factor” was born.
and it’s true
that any hue of grayness isn’t black.
aye,
but it ain’t white either…
