aged

a masquerade portrayal of autumn,
betraying the earthly origin of nature,
sweet chaos replacing the morning sun pearls
with tired raindrops waltzing astray
in a misty textured air…

my sore bones feel old among the tokens
of the once again twisting hourglass…

how time flies…

just an eternity ago
my core was filled to the brim
and glazed with youth…

now i’m raining myself
over a welcoming mud,
dissolving seconds

I really loved the imagery penned in the first stanza… beautifully expressed…
    that made a beautiful read.
