dinner

I never realized until now how erotic it can be to eat grapes on the background of Ravel’s Bolero (yeah, classical sex music :)) – ‘cause that’s what I’m currently doing (currently meaning it’s 10:15 p.m. here). Forget crushing oranges on breakfast :), you should try to crush white grapes in your teeth while hearing the Bolero…it’s like each of those so sweetly perfumed pearls entrusting their tasty treasure to your mouth makes you yearn for more…and more…your tongue caressing the roundness of the fruit, as if trying to prolong the agony of waiting for the release of its flavor…your teeth biting it gently, squeezing slowly the juice from it and refraining from crushing it too fast…that splendid aromatic wave invading your senses…the soft texture of the grape’s flesh surrendering to your pleasure…and in the background Ravel’s Bolero building slowly and unalterably its assault, adding with each passing second something more to the tension, breaking your will into pieces and stubbornly taking you higher and higher, heart beating stronger, blood running faster, hiding in your accelerating breath the reflection of your most secret dreams and fantasies…grape by grape…sound by sound…until after 6’45” (more or less, depending on what recorded version of the Bolero you’re listening to 🙂 ) you find yourself breathless, wondering when did you manage to empty your plate of grapes and why does that Bolero last only that long… 🙂
