a few dying embers…
one last tired fiery tongue
caressing them and announcing
the uprise of the queen of spades…
“the eternal widow”…
and me, left to prove my mastery
in reforging myself…
you’ll say that all i have to do
is close my eyes and ghosts will vanish…
aye lover…
but it wasn’t my steps
that moonlight kissed goodbye that night…

    creepy yet charming piece.
    love ghosts poetry.
